LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV volleyball team (3-0) swept Jacksonville (0-3), 3-0, Saturday morning to finish out its last match at the North Texas Invite inside UNT's Volleyball Center.
The Scarlet & Gray prevailed against the Jacksonville Dolphins in all three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-20.
REBELS OF THE MATCH: Senior Isabel Martin and sophomore Chloe Thomas led the Rebels in kills with 11 and 10, respectively. Junior Arien Fafard hit her 1000th career assist and totaled 20 during today's contest.
The hitting contest went to UNLV as it out hit Jacksonville with a .280 clip compared to the Dolphins at .183. The Rebels also topped Jacksonville in kills with 45-29 and in digs with 34-26.
HOME OPENER
The UNLV volleyball team returns to Las Vegas and the friendly confines of Cox Pavilion for the Rebel Challenge tournament beginning Thursday.
The Scarlet & Gray will welcome Weber State, Miami-FL and St. John's University to the Las Vegas Valley for the four-day Rebel Challenge where each team will play each other once.
PURCHASE TICKETS: Tickets for the 2022 UNLV Volleyball season, which are just $50 for the general public and $40 for seniors, faculty & staff or alumni, are on sale now and may be purchased at UNLVtickets.com, by calling 702-739-FANS (3267) or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office.
Single-game ticket prices this season are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty and staff, and $5 to groups of 15 or more. Fans that purchase tickets online before game day can get them for an advanced single-game price of $6.
All high school, middle school and elementary students are free under UNLV's new admission policy. To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada are school I.D. at the box office on gameday for one (1) complimentary ticket. Current UNLV students will receive free admission with a valid school I.D. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.

- UNLV returned eight letterwinners this season.
- Also returning to the squad from last season were Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos, Arien Fafard, Jordyn Freeman, Chloe Thomas, Isha Knight, Keyana Cruse, Dakota Quinlan, Livvy Setla, Isabel Martin and Thea Sweder. There are eight newcomers, which include three freshmen, a trio of transfers and a pair of graduate transfers.
- UNLV is led by fifth-year head coach Dawn Sullivan, who looks to guide her squad to the postseason for the fifth straight season.
