LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — The UNLV men's soccer team will host a walk-on tryout Thursday, Sept. 22, from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at Peter Johann Memorial Field near the Lied Athletic Center.

The tryout is open to UNLV students enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) for the fall 2022 semester and have not yet passed five years since their first date of college enrollment.

Participating students must provide proof of a physical administered by a licensed medical professional within the last six months, including the results of a sickle-cell solubility test. These documents must be reviewed by UNLV Sports Medicine staff. 

Those interested in participating in the tryout should complete the following steps by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20:

1. Email your full name and UNLV Student ID number to assistant coach David Casper (david.casper@unlv.edu) stating your intent to participate; and,
2. Email your proof of physical and sickle-cell test to athletic trainer Garrett Thompson (garrett.thompson@unlv.edu).
