LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's tennis rookie
Dusan Rsovac was named both the Mountain West Freshman of the Week and Player of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
The native of Brisbane, Australia, went a combined 4-0 last weekend to help UNLV to a trio of victories. He won three singles matches in the middle of the lineup and also teamed with
Aaron Bailey for a 6-0 doubles victory as the Rebels downed Idaho State on Saturday and swept a doubleheader vs. UC San Diego on Sunday.
Rsovac, who was also named MW Freshman of the Week on Feb. 1, remains perfect in dual matches this season, improving to 6-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles.
Next up, UNLV puts a six-match win streak on the line by making its first road trip of the young season. The Rebels will face Portland on Saturday and Washington on Sunday with both matches taking place in Seattle.
