Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Runnin' Rebels Fall At Home To Fresno State Friday Night, 82-79

EJ Harkless led all scorers with 27 points as UNLV has three-game win streak snapped.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team lost to Fresno State, 82-79, at the Thomas & Mack Center Friday night.

Fresno State (8-14, 4-7) was led by Jemari Barker Jr.'s 23 points. Isaiah Hill scored 22, while Isaih Moore added 11.

STAT OF THE GAME: Fresno State shot 52.9% on 3-pointers (9 of 17). The Bulldogs made 5 of 10 in the first half and 4 of 7 in the second. Baker Jr. and Hill combined to shoot 8 of 11 from long distance.

QUOTABLE: "Clearly not the result that we wanted. We just couldn't quite get a rhythm going defensively and we couldn't get them off balance and force them into the shots that would have been good for us. They made some big shots and some good plays and we just weren't able to get over that hump in the second half." - UNLV head coach Kevin Kruger.
