LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV Athletics landed a record 73 student-athletes on the Fall 2022 Academic All-Mountain West Team, the conference announced Tuesday. This surpasses the previous non-COVID year record of 72 honorees in the fall of 2021.

Women's soccer's 21 honorees and cross country's eight honorees marked new program highs, topping their previous highs of 18 and seven, respectively. Additionally, football led the way with 33 student-athletes on the list, while volleyball had 11 honorees.

To be eligible for the 2022 Fall Academic All-Conference Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

Overall, a total of 804 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2022 Academic All-MW Team.
