LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team trailed by as many as 22 points in the first half and after trailing by 16 at the break, came all the way back to take the lead eventually forcing overtime against Boise State in the Mountain West Tournament's quarterfinals Thursday night at the Thomas & Mack Center.

The Broncos increased their advantage to as many as 22 a couple of times, the latest with two minutes to play in the half. UNLV cut its deficit to 50-34 at the break.

SECOND HALF COMEBACK: UNLV started the second half on an 18-6 run to cut the score to 56-52 with 12:33 to go and eventually took a two-point lead (67-65) with four minutes left in the game. QUOTABLE: "Obviously, a great game. Boise came out and punched us in the mouth early. They made everything and put us in a pretty good-sized hole. At halftime there was a sense that the guys knew we were going to chip away at it and chip away at it, and without a doubt in the second half did. Could have very easily let it get out of hand or kind of let it go the other direction, but guys did an unbelievable job fighting. Couldn't be more proud of them. I think the second half was certainly the representation that the team deserves to be remembered by, just how hard they fought and how much they competed. Even being down there early just did everything they needed to do to give themselves a chance to win the game." - UNLV head coach Kevin Kruger
