COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV baseball team dominated the Air Force Falcons by a score of 21-7 in a shortened seven-inning game in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Falcon Baseball Field. The Rebels earned the series win after taking two of three games. 
The Scarlet & Gray improved to 9-16, 5-7 MW, while the Falcons dropped to 11-18, 5-7 MW.
REBEL OF THE GAME: Paul Myro IV went 2-for-5 at the plate, including a three-run home run, with two runs scored and a total of five RBIs.  
HOW IT HAPPENED: UNLV set the pace early after scoring seven runs on three hits and three errors in the top of the first inning with a pair of RBI singles, including a two-run single from Myro. An error on the Air Force shortstop brought in a run, another run was walked in and a sacrifice fly from Rylan Charles gave the Rebels a seven-run lead. Another sacrifice fly in the top of the second from Alex Pimentel increased UNLV's advantage to 8-0 before the Falcons were able to put one on the board with a RBI double from Trayden Tamiya. UNLV led 11-1 going into the top of the sixth, and the Rebels added another 10 runs in their half of the frame on nine hits, including a three-run homer from Myro. The Falcons added three runs on four hits in the bottom of the sixth followed by three more runs in the bottom of the seventh for the final margin. 
Jordan Hanson (2-1) secured his second win of the season for UNLV after throwing all seven innings, allowing seven runs on 11 hits. 
Seungmin Shim (3-2) was saddled with the loss for Air Force. He allowed eight runs on three hits in one inning of work.

- Paul Myro IV has a seven-game hitting streak.
- The Rebels and the Falcons will meet again this season with a three-game series in Las Vegas set to begin Thursday, May 18 at 6:05 p.m.
