LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV baseball team (9-16, 5-7 MW) will return to the friendly confines of Earl E. Wilson Stadium for the next four games, beginning with a nonconference contest against Grand Canyon (17-10) set for Tuesday at 2:05 p.m. The Scarlet & Gray will then host a three-game Mountain West series against intrastate rival UNR (12-15, 3-8 MW) slated to begin Thursday evening at 6:05 p.m.
The games against UNR will count toward the Silver State Series, presented by America First Credit Union.
The Antelopes come into the midweek affair after a 2-2 week, falling to Arizona in extra innings on Tuesday night before taking two of three games against Utah Valley over the weekend.
UNLV enters the midweek tilt after a 2-2 record last week after falling to ASU Tuesday night at the Las Vegas Ballpark, before taking two of three games against Air Force, including the series finale in a shortened seven-inning game.
UNR comes into this weekend's series after a 1-3 weekend, falling to Pacific Monday morning and dropping two of three games against San Jose State over the weekend.

HISTORICALLY SPEAKING
- UNLV and GCU have squared off a total of 40 times with the first-ever meeting taking place at Earl E. Wilson in 1967. The Hustlin' Rebels own the advantage in the all-time series, 21-18-1. However, the Antelopes have won four of the last six, including sweeping the Scarlet & Gray in the last meeting, which was a two-game series played in Grand Canyon back in 2018.

- UNLV and UNR played a three-game series earlier this season in Reno where the Scarlet & Gray came out victorious, taking two of three games including one in extra innings.

UNLV will hit the road for a two-game series against Loyola Marymount set to begin Monday, April 10 at 6 p.m., followed by a three-game, Mountain West series at San Jose State scheduled to begin Friday, April 14 at 6:05 p.m.
