UNLV And LVCVA To Host NCAA Las Vegas Regional At Bear's Best May 15-17

Junior Caden Fioroni will represent the Rebels as the regional's top-seeded individual
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority will host the first NCAA Men's Golf Las Vegas Regional next week from Monday-Wednesday, May 15-17 at Bear's Best (Par 72, 7,217 yards). The Rebels will also be represented in the event by junior Caden Fioroni, who is the top-seeded individual competitor.
Fioroni, who was named the 2023 Mountain West Men's Golfer of the Year, will be making an NCAA postseason appearance for the second consecutive year. A native of San Diego, California, he led the Rebels this season with a 70.39 scoring average to help him rank as the No. 39 individual in the country, while also notching a conference-best six top-10 finishes.Â
FORMAT: The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional competition will advance to the 2023 NCAA Championship. Team and individual medalist titles will be decided May 26-31 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, with Arizona State and The Thunderbirds serving as hosts.

PARKING & ADMISSION: Spectators will need to utilize ride-sharing apps or taxis, as parking will not be available to the general public. Parking will be limited to teams, officials, staff, volunteers, media and vehicles with ADA cards. Admission is free for the three-day event.
MEDIA CHECK-IN: Members of the media covering the event can check in with UNLV media relations personnel in the Master Pavilion inside the clubhouse upon arrival. No credentials are required.
