Denise Armendariz sent off her senior class with a season-ending victory Saturday at Eller Media Stadium.
UNLV (23-27 overall, 9-13 Mountain West) outlasted New Mexico (19-31, 6-16) 10-9 after a three-hour contest.
Armendariz blasted a two-RBI home run in the second and bunted in the game-winning run on a  squeeze in the sixth.
Armendariz's home run was the 28th of her career. The hit elevated her into the Rebels' top-10 for career home runs in her final game.
Alexys Herrera, a defensive replacement for outfielder
Janyssa Martin, drove a seeing-eye double through the middle infield to the centerfield wall. The fourth-year senior stole third to set up Armendariz's go-ahead RBI.
The Rebels needed everybody on the roster. Three players left with injuries and four pitchers competed across the seven innings.
Sabrina Jolin finished the final 1 â…“ innings, punching out the final Lobo batter looking at a change-up, to earn her first career victory.
New Mexico's 3-0 lead was quickly erased when Martin drove in
Maddie Schmidt on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the first.
April Visser followed with an RBI single and left the game after suffering an injury rounding first.
Schmidt extended her streak of reaching base safely to 30 games.
Senior
Lauryn Barker drew a leadoff walk in the second and four of the next five Rebels reached base before
Kelsie Kelso preceded Armendariz's homer with a sacrifice fly.
The Rebels scored a single run in the third when Martin was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded for a two-out RBI.
New Mexico whittled at the deficit over the next three innings before tying the game in the top of the sixth. The Lobos hit five straight singles off of
Alanna Thiede, who powered through a relief appearance after Friday's complete-game win, before Jolin entered the circle.
