LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer team battled CSUN to a 0-0 draw Sunday afternoon at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
On a day with inclement weather in the forecast, the Rebels (0-1-1) stormed the Matadors (0-1-1) on the attack from opening kickoff with eight first-half shots. The Scarlet & Gray went on to finish the match with a 12-8 advantage in shot attempts and the upper hand in shots on goal by a 6-4 margin.
In one of their several opportunities, UNLV made a threatening charge in the second minute with a chance inside the box by
Trinity Buchanan that sailed just above the crossbar.

In her second start, sophomore goalkeeper
Hanne Breur helped the Scarlet & Gray backline leave the match unscathed behind a four-save outing for her first shutout of the season.
