LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's basketball team cruised to a 92-47 victory over intrastate rival UNR on Saturday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center. This game was part of the Silver State Series, which is presented by America First Credit Union.

The Lady Rebels (17-2, 7-1 MW) had four players in double-figures for the second straight game.
Amarachi Kimpson and
Desi-Rae Young were tied as the leading scorers, both having put up 16 points each. Kimpson's 16 points tied her season/career-high, she was the assists leader with a career-high four assists, and brought down five rebounds which tied her career-high as well. Young shot 8-for-12 from the field and had seven rebounds on the day.
Macie James came off the bench and scored a season-high 12 points by shooting 4-for-8 from the field and a career-high nine rebounds. James was tied for the leading rebounder on the squad with
Kiara Jackson who also had a career-high nine boards. Jackson drained 14 points by shooting 6-for-7 from the field and was 2-for-2 from the three-point line.

The Wolf Pack (11-10, 5-3 MW) were led by Audrey Roden with 16 points.

CONTROLLED FROM THE START: Right from the tip-off, the Lady Rebels dominate the court. After only 10 minutes of play, UNLV built a 20-point lead, 25-5, to gain control. The Lady Rebels continued to sink baskets and headed into the break up 49-18. Following the half, UNLV did not let up and extended the advantage to 73-35 going into the last quarter. In the final frame, the Lady Rebels kept the tempo up, and held onto the victory.

SHOOTING PERCENTAGE: UNLV shot 54.9% (39 of 71) from the field for the game and 38.1% (8 of 21) on three-points. The Lady Rebels shot 55.9% (19 of 34) from the field in the first half and 54.1% (20 of 37) in the second, while they converted 38.5% (5 of 13) from the three-point line in the first half and (3 of 8) in the second half.

UNR shot 30.2% (19 of 63) from the field for the game and 6.7% (1 of 15) on three-pointers. The Wolf Pack shot 23.5% (8 of 34) from the field in the first half and 37.9% (11 of 29) in the second, while they made no three-points in the first half and 11.1% (1 of 9) in the second half

OTHER NOTES:
- McKinna Brackens drained her first career three-point basket on her first career attempt. Brackens had a career-high night with three assists, three steals and two blocks. She led the Lady Rebels in steals and blocked shots.
- Macy Spencer picked up her first career steal against UNR.
- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Wolf Pack 50-30.
- UNLV had 50 paint points compared to UNR's 32.
- The Lady Rebels dished out 19 assists.
- UNLV's bench out-scored UNR's bench 47-11.
- The Lady Rebels forced 14 Wolf Pack turnovers and scored 19 points off them.
