LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – After posting its first-ever 6-0 road record, UNLV football moved up two spots in both the AP and USA TODAY Coaches polls released Sunday.
The Rebels are now a school-record-high No. 21 on both lists after improving to 9-2 and 5-1 in the Mountain West with a 27-16 victory at San Jose State on Friday – their first win at SJSU since 1993.
On Tuesday, head coach Barry Odom's squad will find out its standing in the College Football Playoff Committee Rankings after having made its debut at No. 24 last week.
Next up, the Rebels will celebrate Senior Day with the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon vs. UNR on Saturday. Kickoff at Allegiant Stadium is set for 5 p.m. and tickets are available by visiting unlvtickets.com or calling (702) 739-FANS.
