Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Runnin' Rebels Fall At Creighton Saturday In Season's First True Road Game

OMAHA, Neb. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team (4-4) lost at Creighton (7-3), 83-65, in its first true road game of the season Saturday afternoon at CHI Health Center.

QUOTABLE: "Our confidence is a little rattled right now. Confidence is a tricky thing. When you're going through it, it feels like you're never going to feel good again, but then something happens, something sparks it. A good night's sleep, a good shooting session, or something like that and you are back to your old self. Our team is bummed, their down. We have lost three in a row, but at the same time we have four losses to teams that are going to be in the NCAA Tournament. We are playing teams that are going to compete for conference championships and play in the NCAA Tournament. We have to stick our chest out and know that we are going to put the work in to get that turned and once it does, this is a team that can still do a lot of great things. We are competing right now, battling and trying to figure it out." - UNLV head coach Kevin Kruger.
