LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's basketball team will trek to Northern Nevada to play intrastate rival UNR on Saturday, February 24 at 6:30 p.m. The game is part of the Silver State Series, presented by America First Credit Union. The Lady Rebels clinched a share of the Mountain West regular season title on Wednesday and with a win against the Wolf Pack, UNLV will clinch the title outright.

ABOUT THE OPPONENT: UNLV is 41-14 all-time versus UNR. In the last five meetings, the Lady Rebels have won four of five games including going 3-0 against the Wolf Pack last season. In the La Rocque era, UNLV is 6-2 against UNR. In the first meeting this season, the Lady Rebels won in dominant fashion over the Wolf Pack 92-47 in the Thomas & Mack on January 27. UNR heads in Saturday's game with a 14-13 overall record and are currently 8-5 in the MW standings. The Wolf Pack are led by Audrey Roden who is averaging 12.2 points per game. Claire Jacobs is second on the squad in scoring, averaging 9.7 points per game. Lexie Givens is UNR's leading rebounder bringing down 6.0 boards per game. Givens also averages 7.6 points per game.

LAST TIME ON THE COURT: The UNLV women's basketball team completed a comeback to force overtime and defeated Wyoming 63-60 at Arena Auditorium on Wednesday night. Amarach Kimpson led the Lady Rebels with 16 points by shooting 6-for-9 from the field, was a perfect 3-for-3 at the free throw line and hit one three-pointer.
Desi-Rae Young was second on the squad with 15 points.
Alyssa Brown had a career night under the hoop bringing down 19 rebounds (three offensive, 16 defensive).
