Hina Matsui is in the top 10 to lead the Rebels' three individuals through Monday's opening rounds of South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 6,343 yards).
Matsui rattled off back-to-back even-par 72 rounds to sit tied for 10th through 36 holes. Also standing among the top half of competitors in the field, seniors
Morgan Goldstein (+7) and
Gracie Olkowski (+8) are tied for 31st and 37th, respectively.
Atop the team leaderboard, Grand Canyon shot a 7-under 569 as the only team to end the day with a below-par score. Leading GCU with the individual day-one lead, Carly Strole (-6) holds a three-shot advantage over three players in a tie for second at 3-under.
