BOULDER CITY (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's golf team's three individuals finished South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational in the top 30 Tuesday at Boulder Creek Golf Club (Par 72, 6,343 yards).
Each of the Rebel players recorded their highest tournament finishes this season, with junior
Hina Matsui leading the way in 12th place at 1-over 217. The Scarlet & Gray's seniors rounded out the list as
Gracie Olkowski (+6) tied for 24th after shooting a final-round 2-under 70 and
Morgan Goldstein (+8) tied for 29th.
Finishing as the only team with a below-par score, Grand Canyon won the team title at 17-under through 54 holes. Little Rock's Anna Dawson, meanwhile, surpassed GCU's day-one leader by one shot to earn individual medalist honors at 8-under 208.
UP NEXT: Resuming competition as a team, UNLV travels to Tucson, Arizona, for the MountainView Collegiate. The event will be hosted by Kansas State from Friday-Sunday, March 15-17.
