THE TURNING POINT: As the Rebels headed into the bottom of the fourth inning tied 1-1 with the Aztecs, UNLV was ready to capitalize on the momentum from the Kelso home run in the bottom of the third and after Zellien sat down the SDSU batter for the last out in the top of the fourth. In the bottom half of the fourth,
Janyssa Martin started things off with a single up the middle.
Sofia Morales then beat out a beauty of a bunt she put down to give the Rebels runners on first and second. With two outs, the rally started.
Marisa Bowman smacked the first pitch she saw for a double to right center that brought Martin and Morales home to make it 3-1.
Skyler Shaw then sent a single down the left field line that Bowman scored on to make it 4-1. The Rebels then tallied another run on another Bowman double to make it 5-1.
