BOISE, Idaho (UNLVRebels.com) - After trailing by seven points heading into the fourth quarter, the UNLV women's basketball overcame the deficit and secured a 61-57 Mountain West victory over Boise State on Saturday evening at ExtraMile Arena. The Scarlet & Gray are 3-0 in league play for the third consecutive season and are currently on a 20-game MW road game win streak.

Kiara Jackson led the Lady Rebels (11-4, 3-0) with 18 points, four assists and was tied second on the squad in rebounds with seven. Jackson scored 10 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter to help propel UNLV to the victory. Jackson shot 7-for-17 from the field and did not miss any of her free throws (4-for-4). Amarachi Kimpsoon was the second leading scorer, putting up 15 points respectively.
Alyssa Brown led the squad in rebounds bringing down nine boards.
The Broncos (11-5, 1-2) were led by Mya Hansen's 17 points and Elodie Lalotte's 12 points. Abby Muse and Tatum Thompson led Boise State in rebounds, both bringing down six apiece.

FOURTH QUARTER VICTORY: The Lady Rebels headed into the final 10 minutes down by seven points, 43-36, but scored six straight points to cut the deficit to one, 43-42. Mya Hansen of Boise State then made a jump shot, before Jackson sank back-to-back buckets to give the Lady Rebels a one-point lead, 46-45. After going back and forth the Lady Rebels were behind by only one point with under two minutes to go. The Scarlet & Gray then went on an eight-point scoring run to continue to increase the lead and secure the victory.

STAT OF THE GAME: There were a total of 11 lead changes throughout the game, with seven of the 11 coming in just the fourth quarter. UNLV and Boise State were also tied five times throughout, and of the five times, three came in the fourth quarter.

OTHER NOTES:
- McKinna Brackens had eight points to go with seven rebounds and three steals.
- The Lady Rebels have now won eight straight games against the Broncos.
- The Scarlet & Gray are 8-1 against Boise State under head coach Lindy La Rocque.
- UNLV out-rebounded Boise State 44-31.
- The Lady Rebels continued to win the paint and scored 36 of their 61 points in the paint, compared to Boise State's 24 paint points.
