LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's swimming senior Bryson Huey has been named the MPSF Men's Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday. 

Huey, a native of Walnut Creek, California, earned three top-three finishes in a dual meet against No. 3 Arizona State. In the 50 free, he placed third in the second-fastest time in program history of 19.31 seconds. His mark is currently the third-fastest time in the country. 

Additionally, Huey swam a 46.93 in the 100 fly, which went down as the seventh-fastest time in the nation. To close out his impressive weekend, he was the anchor leg of the Rebels 400 free relay squad that placed third (2:56.32).
