LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Lady Rebels were unable to hang on and fell 62-54 to No. 7 Baylor in a tough non-conference showdown on Friday night in front of a sold out Pavilion. The Scarlet & Gray (2-1) still holds the all-time series 4-2.

UNLV was led by
Jasmyn Lott's career-high 18 points by shooting 7-for-12 from the field, 2-for-4 from long range and was a perfect 2-for-2 from the charity stripe.
Meadow Roland recorded her third career double-double scoring 13 points and bringing down a team-high 11 rebounds. Roland dished out a career-high four assists and tallied a career-high three steals.

The Bears (3-0) were led by Taliah Scott's 23 points. Darianna Littlepage-Buggs was the leading rebounder for Baylor, as she brought down 12 on the night.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Lady Rebels and Bears exchanged the lead nine times throughout the game, while each having the biggest lead of eight points. The squads were tied only three times through four quarters of play.
