Meadow Roland led the UNLV women's basketball team with a career-high 25 points as the Lady Rebels defeated Creighton 76-67 on Wednesday afternoon at the Thomas & Mack Center on the opening day of the UNLV Thanksgiving Turkey Tip-Off.

The Scarlet & Gray (3-3) had multiple players reach career marks for the day. Roland led the way with her fourth double-double of the season. She shot 9-for-13 from the field, 2-for-4 from long range and 5-for-8 from the charity stripe.
Teagan Colvin was the second-leading scorer on the day with a career-high 11 points as she shot 3-for-5 from the field, 3-for-4 from three and did not miss a free throw (2-for-2). Colvin also had a team-high and career-high five assists.
Destiny Leo,
Jasmyn Lott and
Aaliyah Alexander each tallied nine points.
The Bluejays (1-4) had four players score in double-figures and were led by Kennedy Townsend who had 17 points. Grace Boffeli had a team-high eight rebounds for Creighton.

TURNING POINT: The Lady Rebels and Bluejays were tied 52-all heading into the final frame. Creighton scored the first basket, to take a 54-52 lead, but UNLV went on a 10-point scoring run to go up 62-54 and never looked back.

STAT OF THE GAME: UNLV and Creighton exchanged the lead 10 times and were tied eight times throughout the game.

OTHER NOTES:
- Destiny Leo reached the 2,000 career points mark early on in the game. She was only six points away from the milestone. She now has 2,003 career points.
- Trystan James made her collegiate debut against Creighton.
- UNLV now holds the all-time series 4-3 over Creighton.
- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Bluejays 41-31.
- UNLV won the paint party, 34-20.
- The Lady Rebels dished a season-high 18 assists.
