CINCINNATI, Ohio (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's basketball team fell 65-48 against Cincinnati in the final non-conference game on Saturday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena. This marked the first meeting between the two squads.

Jasmyn Lott led the Lady Rebels (5-5) with 16 points, while
Aaliyah Alexander was the second-leading scorer with 12 points, respectively.
Shelbee Brown brought down a team-high six rebounds.
Meadow Roland and
Destiny Brown each blocked three shots a piece.

The Bearcats (5-6) had three players in double-digits and were led by Alliance Ndiba's double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Lady Rebels and Bearcats were tied three times and exchanged the lead four times throughout the game.

TURNING POINT: Cincinnati came out of the break and took the lead back, 28-27, on two free throws. The Bearcats then went on an 11-4 run to make it 41-32 and stayed in control for the remainder of the game.

OTHER NOTES:
- In Destiny Leo's return to her home state of Ohio, she dished a team-high three assists.
- UNLV had nine steals and were led by Roland's four.
- The Lady Rebels forced 17 Bearcat turnovers and scored 17 points off them.
- UNLV had 11 fast break points compared to Cincinnati's nine fast break points.
- Trystan James tied her career-high of two rebounds and dished an assist.
- The Bearcats out-rebounded the Lady Rebels 48-33.
