LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Krishna Jayasankar will represent UNLV in the discus throw at the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The four-day meet, which is being held at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field, runs through Saturday; all women's events are scheduled for Thursday and Saturday, while the men will compete Wednesday and Friday.

Jayasankar will represent the Scarlet & Gray in the first of two flights of the discus throw that is slated to begin at 12:30 pm on Saturday. The junior won her discus throw flight (seventh overall) with a mark of 55.61m (182' 5") at the NCAA West Regionals in College Station, Texas. Moreover, her mark shattered a 26-year-old school record previously held by Jessica Marable (52.27m), set in 1999. Jayasankar also became the first Indian women's thrower to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships and the fourth Indian overall to qualify for the championships.

FOLLOW ALONG:
ESPN will provide full coverage throughout all four days of the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The first two days will be broadcast live on ESPN, beginning at 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The two championship days will be aired live on ESPN2 and ESPNU, starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday. ESPN+ will stream all field events.
