In addition, the kickoff time for the season-opening game vs. Idaho State on August 23 has been set for 1 p.m.Â

Welcome back, alumni! The Homecoming football game is the culmination of a week of events on campus. Alumni recognitions will take place throughout the game with the crowning of the Homecoming Court taking place during halftime. Speaking of alumni, the 2000 Las Vegas Bowl championship team will be celebrated during the game. UNLV faculty & staff will have a special ticket offer to join in the festivities. The home season culminates in the Ninth Island Showdown against the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors. Fans are encouraged to get to the game early for a special ceremony recognizing the senior class.
