LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer team used three goals to earn its second straight win, 3-1, over Southern Utah on Sunday at Thunderbird Soccer Field.

Cassie Villanueva (14th minute) and senior forward
Cadence Whitley (87th minute), senior midfielder
Elisa Corvalan sent in the eventual game-winning goal in the 75th minute. Corvalan's go-ahead score came in response to a 1-1 equalizer in the 47th-minute by the Thunderbirds (0-4-2).

Kylie Camp notched her first assist of the year on a cross to Villanueva. Corvalan found the ball off a corner-kick scrum in the box and Whitley rebounded a deflected ball for their goals.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Elesha Magley finished with the second straight win in net with the Scarlet & Gray backline that faced six SUU shots. Her outing included one save in 90 minutes of work.
STAT OF THE GAME: The Rebels recorded three goals on a double-digit shot total for the second consecutive contest, finishing with 10 targets and seven shots on goal.
