LARAMIE, Wyo. (UNLVRebels.com) - For the second straight game, three Lady Rebels scored in double-figures as the UNLV women's basketball team rolled past Wyoming 82-53 on Saturday afternoon at Arena-Auditorium. This marks the second consecutive season the Scarlet & Gray (11-5) have started Mountain West play 6-0.

Meadow Roland earned her sixth double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Roland shot 8-for-19 from the field and 2-for-4 from the three.
Shelbee Brown had a season-high 17 points and brought down 14 rebounds, six of them were huge offensive boards. Brown dished two assists and had two steals.
Sydni Summers was the third leading scorer for the Lady Rebels as she drained a season-high 12 points. Summers was 2-for-6 from the field and was a solid 4-for-5 from long range.
Mariah Elohim dished a team and season-high five assists.

The Cowgirls (4-11, 1-5 MW) were led by Malene Pedersen and Jane Rumpf who each had 16 points. Rumpf also led Wyoming in rebounds with 10.

TURNING POINT: The Lady Rebels and Cowgirls were tied 9-all in the first quarter right before the media timeout. Following the timeout, UNLV scored 14 straight points to take a 23-9 lead after just the first 10 minutes of play. The Scarlet & Gray kept the momentum in the second quarter and scored seven straight points right out the gate, 30-9. However, the Cowgirls were able to cut the deficit to 10 after an 11-point scoring run to make it 30-20 in the second. The Lady Rebels answered with a 10-2 scoring run to close out the second quarter and made it 44-26 and never looked back.

OTHER NOTES:
- Trystan James marked new career-highs in points (seven) and rebounds (five). Additionally, she had her first career blocked shot.
- Hodaya Kabada collected her first two points as a Lady Rebel, brought down her first career rebound, dished her first assist and blocked her first career shot.
- Jasmyn Lott led UNLV with a career-high three steals against Wyoming.
- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Cowgirls 45-38.
- UNLV painted the paint red in the Arena-Auditorium scoring 32 points in the paint compared to Wyoming's 20 paint points.
- The Lady Rebels' bench scored 28 points compared to the Cowgirls bench of seven points.
- UNLV forced 15 Wyoming turnovers and scored 19 points off them.
- Under head coach Lindy La Rocque, the Lady Rebels are 9-4 against the Cowgirls.
