U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) - Four different Lady Rebels scored in double-figures as the UNLV women's basketball team held onto a 64-58 victory over Air Force on Saturday afternoon at Clune Arena. The Scarlet & Gray (9-5, 4-0) have now won 25 straight games over the Falcons (7-7, 1-3).
 
Shelbee Brown earned her third double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds. She also dished two assists and had the Lady Rebels' lone steal of the game. Mariah Elohim was the second-leading scorer with 14 points by shooting 4-for-8 from the field, 4-for-6 from the three and was a perfect 2-for-2 at the charity stripe. Elohim drained her 200th career three-pointer early in the first quarter against the Falcons. Meadow Roland nearly had a double-double, as she collected 12 points and brought down nine rebounds. Roland also had a team-high four blocked shots.
 
The Falcons were led by Milahnie Perry and Jayda McNabb as each had 14 points on the day. McNabb also led Air Force in rebounds with eight. Alexis Cortez was also in double-figures with 10, respectively.
 
SECOND QUARTER SCORING RUN: The Scarlet & Gray held a one-point lead heading into the second quarter. Air Force hit a three-pointer early in the second to take a 19-17 lead. However, the Lady Rebels then scored 15 straight points, which included eight points from Shelbee Brown to give UNLV a 32-19 lead just before the media time out. The Lady Rebels then remained in control the rest of the game.
 
OTHER NOTES:

• Trystan James tied her career-high in rebounds with three.
• The Lady Rebels dished 16 assists, which included four assists from Aaliyah Alexander, Jasmyn Lott and Meadow Roland, respectively.
• UNLV out-rebounded Air Force 41-37.
• The Scarlet & Gray won the paint party 32-30.
• UNLV out-shot Air Force 48.9% (23 of 47) compared to 31.1% (23 of 74). 

UP NEXT: The Scarlet & Gray will be back on home court as Utah State comes to town on Wednesday, Jan. 7. The Lady Rebels and Aggies will tip-off at 6:30 p.m. PT.
