LOGAN, Utah (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Lady Rebels collected a 71-60 victory against Utah State on Saturday afternoon at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in the final trip to Logan. The Scarlet & Gray (16-7, 11-2) have now won the last 17 meetings and both contests this season against the Aggies (6-17, 2-12).

Shelbee Brown had a phenomenal game for UNLV putting up a season-high 21 points and 21 rebounds along with three steals to lead the squad. Brown had nine offensive boards and 12 defensive boards.
Mariah Elohim and
Jasmyn Lott each collected 13 points, while
Meadow Roland had 12 points, respectively.
Aaliyah Alexander had 10 points and dished a team-high four assists.

The Aggies were led by Jamisyn Heaton's 20 points and Elise Livingstons 17 points, respectively. Macie Brown and Aaliyah Gayles each brought down six rebounds to lead Utah State.

TURNING POINT: Following the break, the Lady Rebels started to make their comeback as they went on a 11-3 scoring run to take the lead 41-38. Utah State then scored five straight points to go back ahead 43-41. UNLV had a nine-point run to take the lead back and go up by seven, 50-43. The Aggies never let up as they put up six points to close the gap at one, 50-49.
Meadow Roland put up a layup with four seconds left in the third to make it 52-49. In the fourth quarter, the momentum continued for the Scarlet & Gray, as they had another nine-point run to go up by double-digits, 64-52. UNLV stayed in control for the remainder of the game which included five points off free throws with less than a minute left.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Lady Rebels and Aggies exchanged the lead 14 times and were tied five times. UNLV led for 25:38, while Utah State led for 13:45.

OTHER NOTES:
- This marked Shelbee Brown's eighth double-double of the season. She becomes the first Lady Rebels since 2020 to bring down 21 rebounds. The last time was Rodjanae Wade versus San Jose State on March 2, 2020.
- Roland was the second-leading rebounder with eight boards. Roland had the squad's only block of the game.
- Lott was second on the squad in steals with two.
- UNLV won the paint battle 36-18.
- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Aggies 45-25.
