Cam Miles To Join Men's Basketball Program

6-foot-2-inch guard to transfer to the Runnin' Rebels from Florida State.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball program has received a signed commitment from Cam Miles to join the Runnin' Rebels for the 2026-27 season, head coach Josh Pastner announced Thursday.

Miles, a 6-foot-2-inch, 170-pound guard originally from Chicago, is transferring from Florida State, where he played as a freshman this past season. He appeared in 25 games for the ACC school, averaging 5.4 points and 1.7 assists in 13.9 minutes played per game.

"Cam has great speed and plays fast," Pastner said. "He really fits the way we want to play. He's at his best going downhill, getting into the paint and creating for himself and others. He's a dynamic guard who can score, distribute, and defend at a high level. His ability to push tempo and play with a runnin' style is exactly how we want to play here at UNLV. We are excited about what he brings to our program."

Miles scored eight or more points on seven occasions for the Seminoles this past season, including double figures in four games and a season high of 17 points.

Miles graduated from the Arizona Compass Academy in 2024, and attended IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, for a postgraduate year, where he averaged 17.4 points and 5.2 assists per game. He was a four-star recruit by ESPN (class of 2025).

COMMITTED RETURNING REBELS: Tyrin Jones and Issac Williamson have both committed to return to the program in 2026-27 after playing as freshmen in 2025-26. Jones was selected to the Mountain West's All-Defensive Team and earned honorable mention All-MW honors. He averaged 11.9 points and 5.0 rebounds per game, while leading the league in blocks with 2.2 per contest. Williamson scored 8.6 points per game.

PASTNER ENTERING SECOND SEASON: The 2026-27 campaign will be the second for Josh Pastner as head coach of the Runnin' Rebels. He led the program to the postseason in his first year at the helm, advancing to the second round of the NIT.
