Biography

Tyrin Jones is a 6-foot-9-inch, 190-pound forward who grew up in Las Vegas. He attended Layton Christian Academy in Layton, Utah.

Jones signed with UNLV in November of 2024 under the previous staff. Ranked as a top-150 prospect by 247 Sports, he chose UNLV over New Mexico, Santa Clara and UC Santa Barbara.

Jones averaged 6.0 ppg and 3.3 rpg during the summer of 2024 for Utah Prospects, who won the Adidas 3SSB National Championship.
