LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The Mountain West Conference officially announced its 2027 baseball schedule on Wednesday, ushering in a new era for the league featuring familiar opponents Air Force, Grand Canyon, UNR, New Mexico and San José State along with three new conference opponents in Hawai'i, UC Davis and Utah Tech as full conference members. The expanded conference slate will feature nine league weekends, culminating in the 2027 Mountain West Baseball Championship, tentatively scheduled for May 27-30.
UNLV opens conference play on the road on Easter Weekend against UC Davis, March 25-27, marking the first official Mountain West games for the Aggies. The Scarlet & Gray then returns to Las Vegas for their MW home opening series against conference newcomer Hawai'i, April 2-4.
The Hustlin' Rebels return to the road for a series against San José State (April 9-11), and after a bye week in conference play, UNLV will stay at home where they will face Air Force (April 23-25).
The Scarlet & Gray heads to New Mexico, April 30-May 2 before returning home for two weeks. UNLV will match with Grand Canyon, May 7-9, and in-state rival UNR, May 14-16. The series with the Wolf Pack is a featured part of the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union. UNLV will close out the regular season in St. George, Utah against conference newcomer Utah Tech, May 20-22.
