REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018-19) - TEXAS
Played in 36 of Texas' 37 games (started nine), averaging 5.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in 17.9 minutes played per contest ... Scored in double figures seven times with a season-high 16 points vs. Grand Canyon ... The Longhorns ended up as the NIT Champions with an overall record of 21-16.

SOPHOMORE (2016-17) - MOUNT ST. MARY'S
Earned First Team All-Northeast Conference honors, while averaging 15.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 34.4 minutes per game ... Led the teamin scoring, assists, steals and minutes ... Shot 38.2 percent from 3-point range ... Was the NEC Tournament MVP after averaging 21.7 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per contest in three league tournament games ... Elijah Isa Mitrou-Long was born Dec. 15, 1996, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada ... Majoring in public administration (master's) ... Son of Jersey Long and Gina Mitrou ... Is the third-youngest of 10 children in his family ... Enjoys drawing, watching Netflix and watching basketball ... Lists his mother as his biggest influence because she never stops no matter what ... Chose UNLV because of Coach Otzelberger and the history behind the university is unmatched - wants to be part of the tradition ... Chose UNLV over SMU and Cincinnati ... Has known Coach Otzelberger for years as he coached and recruited his older brother, Nazareth, at Iowa State ... He is now in the NBA with the Indiana Pacers.
