The Runnin' Rebels trailed early in the final game of its #RebelSummer16 Bahamas Tour, but UNLV used strong second and third quarters to capture a 102-87 victory over the Providence Storm on Thursday.

The Storm led by as much as seven in the first quarter before Kris Clyburn and Jalen Poyser connected from deep to pull the game within one. The Runnin' Rebels held a two point lead after Poyser beat the buzzer at the end of the first quarter.

UNLV used a 10-4 run at the end of the second quarter to lead the Storm 50-39 at the end of the first half. Poyser led all scorers with 17 points at the break.

The third quarter was more of the same for the Runnin' Rebels, as they opened the half with a 14-3 run to take a 22 point lead. The Storm made a run late in the game but only got within 11 points as UNLV cruised away with the victory.

Poyser led all scores with 28 points in the game. Kris Clyburn chipped in 19 points and brought down a team-high 12 rebound for a double-double. Christian Jones also had a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The trip, made possible because of funding by the Runnin' Rebel Club, will conclude on Friday and the team will travel back to Las Vegas on Saturday.

The Runnin' Rebels ran away with a 106-85 victory over the CTG Knights in UNLV's second game of its #RebelSummer16 Bahamas Tour on Tuesday.

The game was competitive through the first 14 minutes of the game. The Rebels held a 23-20 lead after the first quarter when Jalen Poser made two free throws to end the stanza. The Knights came back and grabbed a 30-29 with 7:18 left in the first half. UNLV then went on a 17-6 run over the next three minutes to take a 10 point lead. At the end of the first half, the Runnin' Rebels held an 11 point advantage, leading 56-45.

Kris Clyburn was a man on a mission early in the second half as he hit back-to-back three pointers to open the third quarter and added another bucket to give him eight points within the first three minutes of the quarter. Clyburn would lead the Rebels in scoring with 21 points in the game. He finished the game 8-for-10 and also was able to track down eight rebounds.

The Runnin' Rebels led by as much as 25 in the fourth quarter as they were able to capture their first win on the Bahamas Tour. Christian Jones turned in a double-double as he scored 16 points and brought down 14 rebounds in the game. Poyser finished the game with 17 points and Tyrell Green and Uche Ofoegbu added 14 and 12 points, respectively, in the effort.

The trip, made possible because of funding by the Runnin' Rebel Club, will continue through the week. Wednesday will be a day off.

UNLV will be back in action vs. the Providence Storm on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 2 pm PT.

The Runnin' Rebels had the lead late, but free throws cost the UNLV men's basketball team in its first game of its #RebelSummer16 Bahamas Tour vs. Toronto on Sunday.

UNLV missed its last five free-throw attempts, including four in the last 16 seconds, while the University of Toronto drew a foul on a 3-point try with 0.5 seconds left, made all three free throws and defeated the Runnin' Rebels by a point, 80-79.

Uche Ofoegbu had a game-high-tying 20 points, while three other Runnin' Rebels were in double figures in points: Christian Jones (16), Kris Clyburn (10) and Jalen Poyser (10). Jones added a game-high 15 rebounds for the game's only double-double. Clyburn and Ofoegbu each recorded a game-high four steals.

The trip, made possible because of funding by the Runnin' Rebel Club, will continue through the week. Monday will be a day off.

UNLV will be back in action vs. the CTG Knights on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 2 pm PT.

The Runnin' Rebels spent the day traveling from Las Vegas to the Bahamas. Their first game is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 14 at 12 pm PT vs. the University of Toronto.

After 10 days of practicing at the Mendenhall Center, the UNLV men's basketball team is set for foreign tour to the Bahamas.

The Runnin' Rebels are scheduled to play three games while there:

vs. the University of Toronto on Sunday, Aug. 14 at 12 pm PT
vs. the CTG Knights on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 2 pm PT
vs. the Providence Storm on Thursday, Aug. 18 at 2 pm PT

The team will travel from Las Vegas on Saturday, Aug. 13 and return on Saturday, Aug. 20.
