Bag Policy - More Information

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into the Thomas & Mack Center, a bag policy has been implemented that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought in.

The implementation of this measure will enhance public safety and make it easier for fans to gain entry. Effective September 1, 2018, fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag, at venue entrances, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry.

  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch or purse no larger than 8" x 11" with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the stadium after proper inspection.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to; purses larger than (8" x 11"), coolers, briefcases, backpacks, cinch bags, non-approved seat cushions, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. Non-approved seat cushions include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers. Please see our guest services office to have your seat cushion examined.

Search Policy - More Information
For purposes of public safety and effective crowd management, the Thomas & Mack Center, at its discretion, will conduct a search of guests attending an event. The magnitude and intensity of the search will depend on the type of event and the nature of the crowd attending. Please be aware of the following:

  • Fans entering the facility may be subject to security check by metal detecting hand wands.
  • Large bags, coolers and large backpacks will not be allowed into the facility.
  • Once you have exited the facility, fans will not be allowed to re-enter for any reason.
  • There will be an increased security presence both inside and outside the facility.

Searches are designed to be done as quickly and effectively as possible so as not to slow down the ingress of the crowd. Inappropriate items will include, but not be limited to, coolers, video cameras, food and beverages, laser pens and noise makers.
