HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterwinner under coach Dechon Burns at Linfield Christian HS in Temecula, CA … Helped the Lions go 29-9 in three seasons (2020 senior season postponed), including a 13-2 mark and a state championship as a sophomore in 2018 … Played on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball as a tight end, wide receiver, defensive lineman and outside linebacker … Two-time all-league selection ... During his junior campaign in 2019, had 18 catches for 383 yards and seven touchdowns on offense … Added 65 tackles, five sicks, one interception and two fumble recoveries for a touchdown on defense … As a sophomore, caught 24 passes for 330 yards and five touchdowns to go along with 15 tackles and one sack … Also played basketball and was a captain on the track and field team.
