Bam Amina was named UNLV's linebacker coach in 2025 after serving the previous season as graduate assistant coach for the Rebels. The former Bishop Gorman High School standout spent 2023 as a student assistant for the program following an early end to his playing career. The native of Hawai’i signed with Colorado State after graduating from Mililani High School on the islands but the linebacker transferred to UNLV and earned his bachelor’s degree in 2024.
