Roberts joined the Rebels as a special teams and offensive analyst prior to the 2018 season. Under special teams coordinator Travis Burkett, Roberts works primarily with the punters, kickers and long snappers and assists with scouting reports and recruiting efforts. Before coming to UNLV, Roberts was a Special Teams and Tight Ends Graduate Assistant at South Alabama during the 2017 season and spent the 2016 campaign at Independence Community College, where he was a Special Teams Coordinator helping with recruiting, graphic design and video content.Â
The Daphne, Alabama, native earned his Bachelor's Degree in Sports Coaching Education from Southern Mississippi in 2016, where he was a two-year letterwinner as a kicker for the Eagles. He began his coaching career at his alma mater as a tight ends and running backs student assistant while he finished his degree. Roberts is currently working on completing his Master's Degree in Sports Management from South Alabama. He was a three-year starting kicker for Daphne High School.
