Jake Belzer joined UNLV as a defensive analyst in 2022 where he was reunited with Rebel head coach Marcus Arroyo defensive coordinator Keith Heyward.
Belzer came to Las Vegas after six years in various roles at the University of Oregon. Most recently he served as quality control coach on defense, specializing in defensive backs from February 2020 to January 2022. Before that he was an undergraduate assistant intern for safeties after previously working with the defensive line.
The Canton, Ohio, native earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in comparative literature in June 2021.
