Regula is in his second season on the UNLV graduate assistant staff, switching to defense after spending the 2017 season on the offensive side of the ball. The South Florida native came to Las Vegas after spending 2016 in a similar role at Florida International University in Miami while pursuing his master’s degree. Regula began his collegiate playing career at Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati before transferring to the University of Miami and lettering twice for the Hurricanes on special teams and as an H-back. He then spent one semester interning at his alma mater and earned his bachelor’s degree in sports administration from the school in 2015.
