Spencer Duncan joined the UNLV football program in 2020 as graduate assistant coach for the defensive side of the ball.

Duncan spent the 2019 season as offensive coordinator for Jireh Prep Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Before that he served one academic year as offensive quality control coach at Penn in the Ivy League. In 2017, Duncan was the wide receivers coach for Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California. 

The former walk-on tight end at the University of Alabama earned his bachelor’s degree from the SEC school in 2015. Duncan spent time working as a student assistant in his alma mater’s strength & conditioning department as well as in the Tide’s recruiting office.
