2022: Appeared in all 12 games as a junior and compiled a career-high 372 net yards on the ground for a sparkling per-carry average of 7.2 … Also had 14 catches for 75 yards through the air … Led the squad with eight kickoff returns, averaging 17.4 yards per attempt with a long of 25 … His 71 yards on just six carries in the season-opening win over Idaho State included a 47-yard burst … He added a pair of receptions for 19 yards against the Bengals … Rushed for 16 yards on three carries in a win at Utah State in Week Four when he also had a career-high three catches … After more spot duty, made his first career start at Notre Dame in place of an injured Aidan Robbins and turned heads on the national stage by compiling 142 yards on just 11 carries … His memorable day in South Bend included busting a 74-yard rush against the Irish.

2019: Redshirted by playing in only four games … Rushed 11 times for 52 yards and caught three passes for 14 yards … Opened his collegiate career with five carries for 15 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown scamper, in the Game One win over SUU … Carried once for eight yards at Northwestern and closed out the season by making six rushes for 26 yard in overtime win at UNR … Graduated high school early and went through spring practice with the Rebels.

HIGH SCHOOL: A December 2018 graduate of Miami Southridge HS … A three-year letterwinner at running back at the Florida prep powerhouse under coach Sedrick Irvin … As a senior in 2018, helped the Spartans to a 9-3 record and a league championship … Rushed for just shy of 1,100 yards with six scores in 2018 … Also competed on the track team in the 100-meter event and the 4x100-meter relay.

PERSONAL: Courtney Reese was born in Miami, FL … The son of Rashanda Wright and Courtney Reese … Has four siblings, Traon Washington, Jabrielle Reese, Courtney Reese and Aynna Reese … Earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in May 2023.
