Pittsburgh Steelers (169th overall) ... Became the first Rebel runner to be
drafted since Ickey Woods went 31st overall in 1988 to the Bengals ... Only the
second offensive player to be drafted since 1995 ... An experienced, strong,
physical back who is a punishing runner and gets better as the game goes along ...
Nicknamed 'The Tank' for his bruising running style ... Can also

missing nearly a full game at San Diego State because of injury ... Honorable

ground and twice more through the air as a senior ... Turned in three 100-yard
rushing games: 103 yards on 22 carries in UNLV[apos]s upset victory at No. 13
Arizona State, 109 yards on 27 carries vs. Iowa State and 109 yards on 20 carries

more than 1,000 yards as a senior in 2002 for coach John Beam ... The state prep
power posted an 11-0 record and was ranked in California[apos]s Top 10 that
season ... Also played linebacker while leading the Titans in touchdowns in both
his junior and senior seasons as part of three title teams ... Also was a varsity
wrestler and shot-putter for three seasons as a prepster ... Did not play football
in 2003, delaying his enrollment at Cal until January 2004.
