UNLV: A three-year starter at left cornerback who also spent time as a return man throughout his collegiate career … Wore jersey No. 7 in 2018 and '19 after spending his first two seasons in No. 32 … Returned to concentrating on defense in 2017 after having to be moved to offense in 2016 because of injuries … A former high school teammate of Rebel quarterback Armani Rogers in Los Angeles.
 
2019: Earned Second Team All-Mountain West Conference as a senior … The first UNLV defensive back to earn first or second team All-MW since UCLA transfer Mil'Von James was a second-teamer in 2007 … Flowers finished fifth on the team and 31st in the MW with a career-high 68 total tackles, including 3.0 tackles-for-loss, to go with one quarterback sack and one fumble recovery … He finished third in the league with 16 passes defended and tied for 14th in the nation with a career-high four interceptions … Preseason Fourth Team All-MW by Athlon … Started all 12 games at cornerback … Named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week after finishing with 10 total tackles, including one tackle-for-loss, and came up with two of the Rebels’ five turnovers forced in the 38-35 win over San Jose State on November 23.
 
2018: Started 10 games at CB as a junior … Missed two games because of injury … Finished fifth on the team with 53 TT … Posted a career-high five pass breakups … Grabbed his third career interception to help seal UNLV’s upset victory at San Diego State … Twice had 10 total tackles in a game (at USC and at SDSU) … Registered nine TT vs. AFA and UNR … Named 2018 Preseason Third Team All-MW by Phil Steele’s.
 
2017: Played in all 12 games, including starting 10 … Ranked fifth on the team with 60 total tackles and third with 5.0 TFL … Tied for squad lead with three pass breakups … Forced two fumbles and recovered another … Posted a career-high 11 tackles in win over San Jose State … Also reached double-figures with 10 takedowns, including nine solo stops, in victory over Hawai’i … Also contributed on special teams, returning four kickoffs and eight punts.
 
 
2016: Earned his first letter as a Rebel by appearing in nine games … A defender by trade, he was moved to receiver at midseason after a rash of injuries decimated the position … Took to the new role in a big way, catching three passes for 25 yards in his debut in a win at Hawai’i on Oct. 15 … Also had three of his 10 catches on the year in wild win over Wyoming on Nov. 12 … Hauled in one of the most important receptions of the year when Kurt Palandech found him in the end zone from 22 yards out to send the game into its second of three overtimes … His 147 yards receiving ranked fifth on the squad … Also returned nine kickoffs for an average of 19.7 yards.
