A former UNLV student and staffer, Quintin Kohorst returned to campus in spring 2022 to serve as a Head Football Equipment Manager for the Rebels.
Kohorst had just finished his fourth season as the head of equipment operations at Idaho State University after serving as head of equipment and game operations at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado, from 2016-18.
The Las Vegas native was the director of equipment for the Las Vegas Outlaws Arena Football team in 2015, worked as a promotional team member for the Las Vegas 51s AAA baseball club in 2014- 15 and as a student assistant in the UNLV equipment room from 2013-16.
Kohorst graduated magna cum laude from Adams State in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His older brother, Nolan, was a kicker at UNLV and graduated as the program’s all-time leading scorer in 2013. Their father, Keith, played offensive line for the Rebels in the 1980s and was inducted into the UNLV Athletics Hall of Fame as a distinguished contributor in 2022 after serving as a team optometrist for more than three decades.
