Tausha Smith has been at UNLV since 1994, starting as a student manager for the women's program and now is the assistant athletics director for equipment and purchasing.

Smith was promoted to her current position in 2016 after the retirement of longtime UNLV employee Paul Pucciarelli.

Smith was hired as a full-time employee in the Rebels equipment department in 1999 and over the years has worked with the sports of baseball, softball, volleyball, men's and women's swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, cross country, men's basketball and men's and women's golf.

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, she holds two degrees from UNLV. Smith earned her bachelor's degree in 1997 and a master's of education in 1999.
