Ameer Bahhur is in his second season as assistant director of basketball operations and video coordinator for the UNLV men's basketball program.

After serving as the team's graduate manager during the 2017-18 season, he was promoted during the fall of 2018 to his current role.

He is responsible for coordinating the video needs of the program, including editing, scouting, and film exchange. He also oversees the team's presentation video needs.

As graduate manager, he assisted with day-to-day program operations, recruiting databases and player development. Bahhur was also responsible for video breakdown, stat reports and analysis, and scouting projects.

Bahhur came to Las Vegas after spending the 2016-17 season at Loyola Marymount where he was the head student manager under coach Mike Dunlap. The Lions finished with a .500 record that year for the first time since 2011.

In addition to his time at LMU, Bahhur also worked as an intern for the Los Angeles Clippers (2016-17), while also serving as an assistant coach for the varsity basketball team at Torrance High School. 

Bahhur also spent multiple seasons working for both the Los Angeles Kings and Los Angeles Galaxy from 2014-17.

Bahhur graduated from Loyola Marymount in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in management and is currently working towards a master's degree in business administration at UNLV.
