Biography

Jalen Cunningham is a 6-foot-2-inch, 185-pound guard from Las Vegas.

A non-scholarship player who is originally from Fullerton, California, he transferred to UNLV from Cabrillo College prior to the 2025-26 season.

He attended Football High School in Henderson, Nevada, where he averaged 17 points and five rebounds per game as a junior, and graduated from Coronado High School in Henderson in 2021, but his senior season was canceled because of COVID.

While at Cabrillo, his team had its best record in school history at 25-6 and made it to the state playoffs for the first time, advancing to the Elite Eight. He averaged 15 points per game while shooting 45% on 3-pointers, and started all 31 games. He also averaged four rebounds per contest.
