First attended Shadow Ridge High School, then Durango High School, both in Las Vegas, before attending Middlebrooks Academy in Los Angeles ... He was ranked a 4-star prospect by ESPN and 3-star by both Rivals and 247 Sports ... ESPN ranked him as the 25th-best player in the country at his position in his class ... Was ranked as a top-100 player nationally ... IMG went 27-2 and held the No. 1 national ranking for almost three months ... While at Durango, he averaged 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game ... He also played for the Las Vegas Knicks during the AAU season (15.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 45 percent from the field.
