2025-26 (Sophomore)
-Moved up 48 spots to No. 35 in the nation in the November ITA Collegiate Men's Tennis Rankings, becoming the highest-ranked UNLV men's player since Christopher Bulus came in at No. 31 on Feb. 24, 2022.
-Remained undefeated as a collegian and earned All-America status with his second-round win on Nov. 19Â at the NCAA Division I Singles Championship being staged at the USTA National Campus.
-Improved to 12-0 this fall and 20-0 as a Rebel by ousting Eli Stephenson of Kentucky, who was seeded 9-16, in three sets, 6-7 (4), 6-2, 6-3.
-Felt defeat for the first time as a Rebel as he was downed by the nation's seventh-ranked player in the Nov. 20 Round of 16. Led Michigan State's Ozan Baris 6-5 in the second set but saw his opponent tie it up and then take the tiebreaker in the 6-4, 7-6 (5) final.
-The sophomore from Moldova moved into the Round of 16 at the national event after becoming the sixth All-American in program history and first since Rebel Thomas Schneiter won his first two rounds in 2002.
-Became the program's first singles player to earn a preseason national ranking in more than a decade in August 2025 when he was listed at No. 83 to start his second season.
-He is the first Rebel since 2022 to earn any ranking during the season and the first to do so in the preseason since Ace Matias opened at No. 123 in 2014.
2024-25 (Freshman)
-Just the second player in history to be named both Mountain West Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year in the same season.
-Finished with an 8-0 overall record, including going undefeated in league play at the top of the lineup.
